The Blues are battling it out w with the Dingles at Burnley for the signature of Sheffield United's Matthew Kilgallon. The  defender will be able to leave on a free next year, and the Blues may force the yorky farmers hand by bidding some of the cash from the sale of Lucas Neill, rather then waiting till the Summer.

19 year old Hungarian Andras Gosztonyi,andy (to his mates) has set his sights on joining Everton. Moyesy has been keeping tabs on him for the last six months since his performance at the U20s World Cup where Hungary finished 3rd. The  midfielder currently with MTK Budapest has scored 5 goals in 13 games this season. He was due to fly into John Lennon last week but bad weather prevented the visit. If he comes he'd better sort his haircut out or he will be gettin stick from the crowd,and maybe from a few on indo too ,he he.
A lot of media outlets are today reporting that up and coming Leeds United hot shot Jermaine Beckford has signed a pre contract agreement with the Blues to sign on this Summer. Beckford hit the  headlines a few weeks ago when his FA Cup goal at Old Trafford knocked manure out in the 3rd Round. He has been the talk of the town ever since,  Jermaine's Manager Simon Grayson has conceded that Everton have won the chase for his strikers service's, but admits other clubs may still yet come in for him  
Norwegian defender  Knut OLav Rindaroy Knutty (to his mates) is heading to Everton tomorrow for a couple of days to train and hold talks. The 24yr old left back, also comfortable in a centre back position is out of contract with his cuurent team Molde in the summer and the Blues are said to have been tracking him for some time.
Reason we wont sign big names like Huntelaar and Nistelrooy is the wages, Don't need big name prima donnas just watch Moyes to pluck another genius out of nowhere and very cheeply. Can't knock his record up to now.
It was great news to hear that we are going to have our injured players coming back, but reading this really does make me hope that we may see the Magic Spaniard on the bench for the Sunderland game!! How nice would that be, that would just be the biggest lift yet for the fans this year, then it will Jags coming back. Lets get up that table and start showing what we are really capable of. COYBB:)
when asked abiut the blues upcoming fa cup tie against the brummies moyesy said,"I think it'sgonna be a hard game,"  
"One that will be very tight. Birmingham don't concede many goals and because of that, then I think it could be a tight affair.
"It was at Goodison a few weeks ago when we drew 1-1, so we'll need to try and go one step better than that if we want to win this one.
 "The incentive for us is to continue in the form that we're in - it's not much to do with Birmingham. The challenge to the players is to show it."
