timmy cahill admits Everton would be willing to win ugly at Wigan on Saturday in order to extend our unbeaten league run into a third month.

The Aussie wonder guy who scored the opener in the 2-0 win against Sunderland on Wednesday, knows the trip to wigan provides a tough test for the Blues.

But having now recorded eight league games unbeaten since the derby frustration at the end of November, Cahill is confident the players and, importantly, Everton’s travelling fans will show the right attitude as they bid to overcome the pie eaters
when asked ,timmy said"It is an ugly game and we know what to expect at Wigan as not many people will be there,"
"We are ready for the fight and there is no other way to look at this game. We just have to go out there and do our job."
Wigan record low attendances. the same fixture last season attracted just over 18,000 supporters.
But Cahill believes that will work to Everton’s advantage – thanks to the Club’s travelling following.
"For me I always love playing in front of big crowds and a full house so I suppose it makes a difference to a certain extent," said Cahill.
"The atmosphere won't be as big but we are lucky that we have a massive travelling support and our fans are brilliant.  So long as our fans are there that is all that counts.
"Our fans are always key because they let you know when you are not doing well but also when you are doing well."
After enduring a tough opening to the Premier League campaign, Everton have now moved to ninth in the table with their sights firmly set upwards following back-to-back 2-0 victories in the league over Manchester City and Sunderland.
"For me it is about being consistent, regardless of results you have to make sure you go out there and perform week in, week out," explained the midfielder.
"As a team you have to stick together. To have eight unbeaten speaks for itself. The Premier League table is obviously important and I think if we keep performing like this we could move up it quite rapidly," he continued.
"Winning games breeds confidence and Saturday is another massive game for us."                                         lets hopethat we don,t get to complacent today agaainst a team we should walk all over on paper, arteta is a dobut ,but let us give tater time to get fully fit before moyesy plays him against teams like wigan.dono and the wig are doing ok at the minute with leon osman fit and pienaar also fit.and maybe senderos will get a run out today.         we are slowly gettin back to full strength, and also slowly but surely climbin up the table ,but this next months fixtures must be our toughest test this season, playin 4 out of the top 5 teams on a month has got to be hard for any team lets hope we gain a few pts this month or we gonna be left behind chasin rainbows in stead of that coveted europe place we have grown accustomed to at goodison in recent years.                                                my prediction for today is a comfortable 3-0 win for everton
